February in Branson!

Well Branson was just getting used to January & then BOOM!  It’s February!  Even though my mainstay job, Silver Dollar City (My 36th season) is closed right now (They open March 14th), I am running like crazy!  I will have my usual 8 jobs in 2015, PLUS, a lot more opportunities too!

 I will be making an appearance in Branson’s ‘Hot Winter Fun’ Monday, February 2nd at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre.  This is the 21st annual kickoff for the season & a chance to see most of the performers in Branson!

 

 

 

Feb 25 I was ‘Joan of the Ozarks’ for the 6th annual ‘Wrong Show’ (Formerly known as ‘The Gong Show’).  It’s always so much fun & raising money to support the Branson/Hollister Senior Center to provide meals for those who are home-bound.  This year we had Dalena Ditto as ‘Wonder Woman’, Jennica McNeary as ‘Bette Midler’, Debi Diamond as ‘Gladys’ a character created my Ruth Buzzi, & I as ‘Joan’!  It was an almost SOLD-OUT crowd & the best one ever!  Clay Cooper was the MC/Host this year & he’s always a lot of fun!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This winter I will make a few personal appearances, (Check my Personal Appearances page) & then Silver Dollar City will open up on March 14th with so much more to offer than ever before! This will be my 36th season to perform at Silver Dollar City & I’ll be playing 4 characters a day & a few surprises too.

They are adding an new area with 10 new family adventures plus in the summer we’ll have the Harlem Globetrotters!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will be my 14th season in the Shepherd of the Hills play! Where I portray both ‘Ollie’ & ‘Doc’!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then for my 9th season I’ll be ‘Deputy Birdy’ at Big Cedar Lodge entertaining the folks on an hour-long campfire wagon ride!

You can hear the folks in the Ozark hills sigh… “Awe…”  I’ve had an amazing season & now a little time to rest until we start up again in March!  In 2015 you’ll find me at all of my 8 jobs plus a 1-time only VARIETY show ~ ‘Homer Lee & Friends ~ Variety Show’ in mid Sept.

December… ALREADY!?!  

It really is & wow, what a season we’ve had here in Branson!  It’s officially Christmas time now that Thanksgiving is over & this town is ready to celebrate the holidays!  You can find me for my 35th season at Silver Dollar City right now as ‘Clarence Peabody’ ~ Santa’s helper!  Silver Dollar City is open Thursdays-Sundays at 1 PM until 9 PM & Saturdays 12 noon-9:30!  Then OPEN December 26th-30!

 

BIG NEWS! 

The BIG news is my 1-time only ‘Homer Lee & Friends ~ Christmas Homecoming!  That will be at 7 PM, Monday, December 15th at the Hamners’ Variety Theatre!

 

I’ll have with me on stage Spoken 4 Quartet… Cecil Stringer, Jon Charles Taggart, Brandon Britton, & special guest Brian Arnold!

November already!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, it’s November already & the holiday season is here in Branson stronger than ever!  So much is going on, the first week of November is Branson’s tribute to our veterans!  Then we have Thanksgiving & all the trimmings for that! And of course Christmas!  Trust me , we LOVE to say, “Merry Christmas” in this town!  Many of my seasonal job have ended for the regular season, like my hour-long wagon ride at Big Cedar Lodge & the Shepherd of the Hills play, which by the way WILL be back for 2015!!!  Right now they have their annual ‘Trail of Lights’ at the Shepherd of the Hills farm!  

Where am I right now?

Well you can find me on The Vacation Channel day & night where I have been for the last 17 years with my own TV show called ‘Branson Country’!

 

 

 

And for my 35th year in a row, non-stop at Silver Dollar City!  

 

 

 

 

During the Christmas Festival season you’ll find me as ‘Clarence Peabody’, Santa’s helper in the Carousel Barn!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, I make a ton of personal appearances (See my ‘Personal Appearances’ page for 2014)  Saturday, November 8th I was the host of a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin, MO at 10 AM at the Central Christian Centre ~ 410 S. Virginia Ave. at the ‘Fox Theatre’!  

 

 

And for my 8th year in a row I have written, directed, produced, & will appear in ‘Breakfast With Santa’ This year’s production is ~ ‘The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t’! It will be at the White River Conference Centre at 8:30 AM at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO.  Saturday, November 29th, December 6th, 13th, & 20th.

The Shepherd of the Hills Play is BACK!

 

The Owners of the Shepherd of the Hills PLAY have re-opened the show for 2014 for their 55th season.  This is our 13th season for our family to work there.  Both of our sons do the lights & sound & our youngest of the 2, plays ‘Ollie’ on the night that I play ‘Doc’!

The Shepherd of the Hills play is now Friday & Saturday nights ONLY at 7:30 PM until Oct 25th!

Oct 12th I was honored at the Baldknobber Theatre for the Terry Awards!  I’d been nominated in 2 categories!  1. Comedian of the Year. 2. Entertainer of the Year & WON ‘Comedian of the year!

1. Silver Dollar City

It really is my 35th season to perform at Silver Dollar City!  During the Fall Fest I play 5 characters over the entire 65 acre park.  Look for me as… ‘W.P.’ the warden, ‘Colonel Paisley Alowishus Parnell’ the banker, ‘Icky Ickibod’ the scarecrow, ‘Mr. M. Balmer’ the undertaker, & ‘Horacio “Doc” Harris’ inventor of the Wild Fire roller-coaster!

2. Shepherd of the Hills Play

They have re-opened the Shepherd of the Hills play for 2014!  YES!!! It will be a limited basis, but they are open for 2014!  I plan on being there so come & see America’s largest outdoor drama in its 55th season & my 13th season to perform in it!  The show is now Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30 PM.

4. The Vacation Channel
