Happy December… Can you believe it’s the end of the year?

Here we are once again with the holidays here & so much to be thankful for!  I have been so very blessed to work in Branson, MO for the last 36 years & I’m busier now than ever before!  My wife & our 2 sons wish you & yours only the best this season & Merry Christmas too!

I’ll be back in Harrison for a PRIVATE PARTY at 6 PM.  I have 3 ‘BreakFast With Santa’ events for Bass Pro in Springfield, MO Sat. Dec. 5th, 8 AM, Sat., Dec. 12th at 8 AM, & Sat., Dec. 19th at 8 AM. Nov. has arrived & we are gearing up for the holidays here in Branson!  Silver Dollar City will open up this TOMORROW!!!  Sat., Nov. 7th for our ‘An Old Fashioned Christmas Festival’.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instead of playing 5 characters over the 60 acre park, I return in my role of ‘Clarence Peabody’ ~ Santa’s helper!  Santa & I will be in a new location this season & we are so excited about that!  They have completely renovated the River Blast to be Santa’s Workshop & now Santa & I are located on Santa Claus Lane!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Along with Silver Dollar City I keep busy, 8 job during the “Regular” season.  I make several personal appearances throughout the year.

 

It’s Veteran’s Week here in Branson, MO.!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last Friday I hosted a private party here in town as ‘Joan’ for spouses of veterans luncheon!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tues, Nov. 10th, I was honored to have been asked to MC one of the major Veteran’s shows; Wal-Mart Tribute at the Oak Ridge Boys Theatre!   It was a crowd of over 2,000 who were ready for a good time & we sure had it! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This coming Nov. 30th, I’ll host a Christmas Show in Harrison, AR on the square at the Lyric theatre at 8 PM, just after the parade!  Special Guest Eddie Stovall of the “Only You” tribute to The World Famous Platters, and Special Musical Guests – SOUTHERN CONFESSION! Tickets are only $10, benefitting North Arkansas PACK and North Arkansas Performing Artists Coalition (NAPAC).

It’s October & Fall is in the air!  

This is my favorite season for so many reasons…  This is my 36th year that I’ve worked at Silver Dollar City & we’re enjoying their ‘National Harvest & Cowboy Festival’.  Crafter all over the 60 acre 1800’s theme park plus, make it a point to stop by & say “Howdy!” to Violet Hensley the fiddle maker, in her 50th anniversary in this festival!  She’ll turn 99 years young on Oct. 20th!

Buck Taylor of TV’s ‘Gun Smoke’ fame is here also signing photos from his career & selling his incredible artwork!  Here I am as ‘Colonel Paisley Alowishus Parnell’ the banker with Buck!

Then make a mad dash back into Branson & play ‘Ollie’ or ‘Doc’ in the Shepherd of the Hills play!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Plus, I still have my hour-long show on The Vacation Channel as ‘Terry the Tour Guide’ as well as 7 other characters.  I’m filming a new show for them as well & it will be airing soon!

The 2nd annual Terry Beene Awards Show was Sunday, October 11th at the Starlight Theatre here in Branson & I made an appearance there too as Joan Rivers on the red carpet as well was the presenter of the Joey Riley Comedian of the Year Award!  My good friends Tim Mabe ‘Droopy’ & Jerl Adams ‘Hargus’ won this year!  I was honored by them last year with ‘Comedian of the Year!

Sweet September has arrived!  

 I now have 8 jobs, yes, I really do, plus, my yearly, 1-time ONLY variety show was Sunday September 13th! ‘Homer Lee & Friends Variety Show’ Was a SOLD-OUT fundraiser for 3 charities.  I asked everyone who came to this all-star event to bring a nonperishable food item to help us stock the shelves of Riley’s Food Bank. I was there of course with all my comedy antics, plus Clay Cooper, Bob Hubbard of the Foggy River Boys, Bucky Heard, Kelly Smith of Legends In Concert, Jamie Haage of the Grand Jubilee, Cliff Braschler, Dylan Pratt, The Homestead Pickers from Silver Dollar City, & a ton of surprises! As a matter of fact, “Surprise” is the theme of my show this year! On top of all of that, Shoji Tabuchi & Mel Tillis dropped in & surprised us!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This month you can find me at Silver Dollar City 5 days a week as 5 characters a day, Big Cedar Lodge in my hour-long wagon ride as ‘Deputy Birdy’, the Shepherd of the Hills play as ‘Ollie’ or ‘Doc’, The Muscular Dystrophy Association as ‘Barney Fife’, the Baker Creek Seed Company on Sunday, September 6th 10 AM – 3 PM in Mansfield, MO., on TV on the Vacation Channel all the time, Kelly’s Kountry Junction on DISH Network so check your local listings/times, & personal appearance as well!

My final appearance for 2015 at the Baker Creek Seed Company was Sunday, September 6th in Mansfield, MO. 10 AM – 3:30 PM!   That was a FULL day because I left there & made a surprise appearance at Treasure Lake Resort as ‘Joan Rivers’, & then I was off to appear in the Shepherd of the Hills play!

 

 

Friday, September 25th I’ll be at Lakeland Pharmacy in Branson West from 6 PM – about 7:15 PM as Gma Beulah, their spokeswoman.  

 

 

 

 

Sunday, September 27th I’ll present some awards for the 13th annual Branson Gospel Singer/Songwriter Association at the Camden Hotel at 5:30 PM.
