I can’t believe it’s the merry merry month of May!

The 2019 season is here & Branson is booming!  This is my 40th season to perform here in Branson, MO & I’ve having a BIG 40th  celebration for it on Sun., Aug. 25th!  It will be in the Americana Theatre here in Branson at 2 PM.  I’ll have almost 30 performers on stage with me & many surprises too!  The Braschler Music Show the Homestead Pickers, Pure Heart, Jamie Haage, Dylan Pratt, Miki Cunningham, Mandi Denney, George Dyer, JC Clinton, Willie Nash, Bob Hubbard, Dede’s Daycare ensemble, Josh Goff, Martha Betterfield, & more!  Call NOW ~ 417-544-8700!  We’ve sold over 400 seats of the 700 available.  It will sell-out!

This is my 4th season to be the comedian in CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy show at the Americana Theatre!  Our show is every Sun., Tues., & Wed. night at 7:30 PM!

The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama!

For 18 years I’ve been in the Shepherd of the Hills outdoor drama!  I play ‘Ollie’ the city slicker & sometimes ‘Doc’.  Our 2 sons also work there doing the sound & lights.  Our youngest son, Evan also plays ‘Ollie’!  You can see me in the play on Thursday & Saturday nights.  We open May 18th!

This is my 13th year to work for Big Cedar Lodge!  I write all their BIG shows, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas!  WOW!  We sure have fun!

Yes it’s my 13th season to appear here too in Mansfield, MO as different characters over the property!  I’ll be there Monday, May 6th, Sunday, June 2nd, Sunday July 7th, & Sunday Aug. 4th!

Where am I in 2019?

Silver Dollar City ~ 40 years now!

Yes, 40 years of entertaining literally millions of guests!  This season I play 4-5 characters a day all over the 66 acre theme park! ‘Alexander Osterman’ ~ clock-maker by trade, time traveler for fun!  ‘Colonel Paisley Alowishus Parnell’ ~ Banker!  ‘Mr. M. Balmer’ ~ Undertaker!  & ‘Doc Horatio Harris’ ~ Inventor of the Wildfire roller-coaster!  Later in the season we’ll bring out ‘Ichabod Icky the Scarecrow’ & NEW for 2019,  ‘Jumping Jack’ the Jack-o’lantern man!  

  

CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy Show!

Her 8th season with her very own show, CJ Newsom sings the true country classics!  She’s joined on stage by seasoned performers Kaylee Ruden, Kelly Wiegand Parrish, Michael Jason Frost, Justin Sassanella, & the Re-Cliners Band, & me ‘Homer Lee’, every Sun., Tues., & Wed. in the Americana Theatre on Hwy. 76 here in Branson, MO!  

Shepherd of thew Hills Outdoor Drama!

This is my 18th season to be in the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama!  I play the role of ‘Ollie Stewart’ the city-slicker who makes a grand entrance via a 19o7 DeWitt automobile!  Our 2 sons are also in the play, Austin & Evan Sanders both run the lights & sound.  Evan plays ‘Ollie’ on the nights I’m not there & sometimes he plays ‘Young Matt’!

Yes, it’s my 13th season to perform at Big Cedar Lodge!  I write, cast, direct & appears in ALL the BIG shows at Big Cedar!  Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, & Christmas too!

Marvelous March has arrived & so has the 2019 season!   

March is the time of year when all things come back to life from the dormant winter & that’s what’s happening right here in Branson, MO.  So many new attractions as well.  Wonder Works bought the old Baldknobber’s theatre, they torn it down & are building one of their creative/interactive/family-friendly ventures!  The Grand Palace will soon be torn down to make way for Aquarium At The Boardwalk!  And so much more is on the way…

On the positive side Branson, MO is hot with excitement for the 2019 season!  So much is going on & I’m proud to say this is my 40th season to be an entertainer here!

  

2019 looks like it will be a non-stop cavalcade of employment for me EVERYWHERE!  I will maintain ALL my usual jobs, for instance this is my 40th season with Silver Dollar City playing multiple characters over the entire 66 acre park!

This will be my 4th year to share the stage with CJ Newsom in our show CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy in the Americana Theatre here in Branson, MO!  We have added more musicians & performers for the 2019 season & our opening date is March 19th!  Every Sun., Tues., & Wed. at 7:30 PM!

This is my 18th season (On & off) to be in the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor drama!  You will not recognize the homestead at all with the newest  addition of the Aunt Mollie’s Restaurant, the Playhouse Theatre, live entertainment during the day all the new shops, the new kid’s playground, & so much more!

This is my 14th season to write, produce, & perform at Big Cedar Lodge!  I’m bringing my comedy & friends to help us celebrate ALL the GREAT holidays Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & of course, Christmas!

Sun., March 3rd ~ Branson Detour 2019! is coming to the Coleman Theatre on Sunday, March 3, for two fun-filled hours showcasing Branson’s top musicians, singers and comedians. The lineup includes Terry Wayne Sanders (better known as “Homer Lee”), Motown Downtown, George Dyer, Buckets N Boards, Dolly and Friends, the Michael Frost Trio, Lou LeBrun, and Leroy New’s Tribute to Marty Robbins. The show will run from 2 to 4 p.m. and tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $20 for students and children.

 

 

 

Ready or not… Happy New Year & let’s jump into January!  2018 had it’s ups & downs, but we survived & are anxiously looking forward to 2019!  Right now I’m on hiatus from ALL my jobs & that’s ok, with 6 jobs last year it’s nice to relax & get “the little things” done!

I have a few appearances this winter & I will up-date my 2019 Personal Appearances page as the events start lining-up!

Friday, January 25th-30 I will be with Chris & CJ Newsom in Louisville, KY. for the ABA (American Bus Association) convention to visit with 100’s of tour bus/coach companies to invite them book their groups for CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy Show for 2019!
