It’s October & Fall is in the air!
This is my favorite season for so many reasons… This is my 36th year that I’ve worked at Silver Dollar City & we’re enjoying their ‘National Harvest & Cowboy Festival’. Crafter all over the 60 acre 1800’s theme park plus, make it a point to stop by & say “Howdy!” to Violet Hensley the fiddle maker, in her 50th anniversary in this festival! She’ll turn 99 years young on Oct. 20th!
Buck Taylor of TV’s ‘Gun Smoke’ fame is here also signing photos from his career & selling his incredible artwork! Here I am as ‘Colonel Paisley Alowishus Parnell’ the banker with Buck!
I am busier now more than ever in my 36 years in Branson! I have 8 jobs! I play 5 characters a day at Silver Dollar City.

Then I run down to Big Cedar Lodge & portray ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ in my hour-long wagon rise 5:30-6:30

Then make a mad dash back into Branson & play ‘Ollie’ or ‘Doc’ in the Shepherd of the Hills play!

Plus, I still have my hour-long show on The Vacation Channel as ‘Terry the Tour Guide’ as well as 7 other characters. I’m filming a new show for them as well & it will be airing soon!

If you watch the Dish Network you can find me on channel 73 Blue Hiway in my 4th season on ‘Kelly’s Kountry Junction’.
This is my 9th year to work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as ‘Barney Fife’ for their ‘MDA Lock-Ups’ ~ I’ll have 2 more appearances for them this month.

I just had my 1-time only, yearly ‘Homer Lee & Friends Variety Show’! It was SOLD~OUT & benefited 3 charities! We did film it & the double DVD set will be released later this month! You’ll want to get a copy for yourself & several other copies for your friends! We had an ALL~Star cast, Clay Cooper, Cliff Braschler, Bucky Heard, Kelly Smith, Shoji Tabuchi, Jamie Haage, Dylan Pratt, the Homestead Pickers from Silver Dollar City, & Mel Tillis!!!
The 2nd annual Terry Beene Awards Show was Sunday, October 11th at the Starlight Theatre here in Branson & I made an appearance there too as Joan Rivers on the red carpet as well was the presenter of the Joey Riley Comedian of the Year Award! My good friends Tim Mabe ‘Droopy’ & Jerl Adams ‘Hargus’ won this year! I was honored by them last year with ‘Comedian of the Year!
