Wow, only 19 more days before Christmas & we are running like crazy!  Branson is booming right now.  I’m thrilled to be Santa’s helper, ‘Clarence Peabody’ at Silver Dollar City.  Here’s a photos of ‘Clarence’We had a big crowd at SDC on Saturday, 19,384 very happy campers!  Saturday was my first show at Big Cedar too as ‘Barney Fife’ & again another big crowd there.   There are people everywhere!

Check-out the ‘Personal Appearances’ page on this site for all of jobs.  The show at Big Cedar is about 40 minutes of live music, ‘Barney’ & his friend ‘Missy Toe’, the lighting of the gorgeous Big Cedar Christmas tree, & Santa’s arrival in a horse-drawn wagon!  This is free & open to the public as well as the wonderful guests at Big Cedar.  They have all sorts of family activities before the show & your choice of great restaurants with amazing foods & drinks!  Dress warmly.

I have never been prouder than I was last Friday night watching our oldest son, Austin, perform with his band, ‘Quest For Fire’at the ‘Squid & Whale’ in Eureka Springs, ARK.!  It’s a metal-rock group & they are doing a lot of ‘gig’s in the area right now.  Tomorrow he will turn 19 years old!

Branson is so beautiful with all of the Christmas decor & there are bargains to be found!

Regular gas at my favorite place, AJ’s 1-Stop, as of today (Sunday, December 6th) is $2.46.9!  If you are a local they take 5 cents off & if you have their official AJ’s 1-Stop card, it’s 10 cents off per gallon!  Hello?!?  I’ll see you there!

It’s that time of year when there’s the ‘Branson shuffle’ going on in the entertainment business, a lot of shows changing their cast members, new shows trying to open-up & some are closing down.  I pray for everyone that 2010 will be a better year for them & the world.  I wish you peace, happiness, & the true meaning of the season.  Merry Christmas!  Always, your buddy, Terry ‘Homer Lee’ Sanders
