Sunny September Skies In Branson
I can’t believe it’s September already! I’ve hit the ground running the very first day of September, I made my final appearance for the 2013 season on Sunday, September 1st at the Baker Creek Seed Company in Mansfield, MO. Everyone had a GREAT time! I played ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ & Grandpa Tabuchi. I got back to Branson in time to have dinner with the family & then off to Shepherd of the Hills play at 7:30 now that it’s our fall schedule.

Monday, September 2nd I was on KRZK with Steve & Janet promoting ‘Boonie Woonie’. A movie that premiered Sunday, September 8th at 2:30 PM at the IMAX complex with the cast on the red carpet & everything. This was open to the public & we ALL had a GREAT time!

I was off from Silver Dollar City from the 1st-11th & then back on the 12th of September. The 7th at 1 PM I made an appearance as ‘Barney Fife’ in Harrison, ARK for a tribute to veterans with a big parade!

Then on to Branson where I will made another appearance for a PRIVATE party at Stonebridge for another group of veterans at 6 PM. From there I went on to perform at The Shepherd of the Hills play at 7:30 PM!
Sunday, September 29th I’ll appear/present at the 11th Annual BGSSA Award Ceremony & you can attend too, see the post below for information!
Here’s my wild run…
The best thing that I can tell you is that I have NEVER been bored! Make the most of your life & laugh more than you ever have before. My comedy marathon has begun & you can find me just about everywhere! Silver Dollar City, The Vacation Channel, Big Cedar Lodge, ‘Kelly’s Kountry Junction’, Shepherd of the Hills play at 7:30 PM with a pre-show tribute to our veterans ! I am making plenty of personal appearances too.
The latest scoop on my whereabouts…
I am filming a TV sitcom being taped in downtown Reeds Spring – it’s called ‘The Bucket Lid Cafe’ & more details later as I know them.

Gina, Danny, & Joanna all “work” at the Bucket Lid Cafe’I’m in rehearsals for the 2013 Breakfast With Santa show that I am writing, producing, & directing. This all new show will feature Greg, Winters, Mandi Crawford, Dana Embree, myself, & new to us is Bucky Heard, he plays ‘Jake’ of the Blues Brothers in ‘Legends In Concert!’ He’s phenomenal! Bucky will be Santa’s #1 elf who’s TOO helpful!

2. The Vacation Channel for my TV show ‘Branson Country’ for my 16th season!
I play ‘Terry the Tour Guide’ as well as 7 other characters in this 1-hour TV show called ‘Branson Country’. This show is shown several times a day so tune in.
3. Shepherd of the Hills Play for my 12th season!
Reprising my roles as ‘Ollie Stewart’ the city slicker & ‘Doc Caughlin’ – well, “What would Sarah & the girls say!” The play opened May 1st this year!

4. I’ll be at Big Cedar for my 6th season as ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ hosting the campfire wagon rides!
I take you on a 1-hour wagon campfire/ride as the lovable ‘Deputy Birdie’ telling you the history of Big Cedar & some Big tales too! Select evenings so look at my 2013 Personal Appearance page! Or call 417-335-2777 for reservations, you don’t have to be a guest to ride! I have these ride on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays in September & October!
5. Bass Pro for my 6th season!
I have been so blessed to write, produce, & perform in Bass Pro’s Christmas celebration for 6 years now! So keep your eyes open & checkout my personal appearances page later in the season.
6. The Muscular Dystrophy Association for my 6th season!

This is my 2nd season on this locally produced TV show now being seen on LOCAL PBS stations in Joplin, MO. & Springfield, MO. on Saturday nights. Check their local listings for the time & day. I get to stretch my comic abilities playing many characters, skits like you’d see on ‘The Carol Burnett Show’, Red Skelton, etc…
8. Personal appearances – EVERYWHERE – for all my life!
I keep so busy before my regular jobs, on my breaks at my regular job (Silver dollar City), on my way to my other regular jobs (Big Cedar Lodge), on my way to another regular job (Shepherd of the Hills), & after my regular job! August 26th I had my ‘Homer Lee & Friends Reunion Show! It was SOLD-OUT about 2 weeks beforehand. We turned away over 200 people at the Hamner-Barber Theatre. The TRIPLE DVD is available NOW!
I knew every single person in the audience! It was such a thrill to give back to those who have given so much to us. Plus to work with people whom I’ve know for many years. An all-star cast with Bob Leftridge of the Baldknobbers as the ‘voice’ of the show, Berry Wynne & South Wynne, cast members of ‘The Toby Show’ with Jae McFerron, Ray Jones, Rick Medlin, & Greg Becker, The Braschler Quartet, 4 female singers from the Braschler Music Show (Merissa Braschler, Susie Sims, Raphael Thompson, Dee Schrock-Dolloff, Barbara Fairchild, Clay Cooper, Tony Roi, Doug Gabriel, many more & lot of surprises – you will be amazed!
