June, & My Comedy Marathon!

It’s June! This month I’ll be busier than ever before with my 8 jobs in my comedy marathon.
Monday (June 24th) I WAS at Silver Dollar City (1 of my usual days off) so I can be OFF on the following Thursday to work for the Muscular Dystrophy ‘Lock-up’ as ‘Barney Fife’ in West Plains, MO on the 27th at Skillet’s Family Restaurant 9 AM – 4 PM. June 20th I was ‘Barney’ in Joplin, MO. for the MDA & had a blast! I think they may have exceeded their donation goal! It was the BEST time & what amazing people in Joplin both the ‘Lock-up’ & the MDA crew!

Thursday, June 27th after I leave West Plains as ‘Barney Fife’ for the MDA, I will drive to Springfield & host the Ozarks Literacy Council’s Trivia Night’ as ‘Joan Rivers! I can’t wait!

Friday June 14th Between Silver Dollar City & Shepherd of the Hills I made a surprise visit for a family reunion as ‘Ada Mae’ looking for her next husband/long lost cousin! You can have me at you next gathering too!

Friday, June 7th I used my Silver Dollar City City lunch break to make a surprise appearance for a private party as ‘Joan Rivers’! The reunion was veterans & their wives & we ALL sure had a great time!

Sunday, June 2nd I was off from Silver Dollar City, so I was performing at the Baker Creek Seed Company 10-4:30!
I am filming a locally produced film here in Branson called, ‘Boonie Woonie’ – a family film to be released this summer at the IMAX complex. I filmed Monday, June 3rd! Here’s a photo from the film…

The best thing that I can tell you is that I have NEVER been bored! Make the most of your life & laugh more than you ever have before.
My comedy marathon has begun & you can find me just about everywhere! Silver Dollar City, The Vacation Channel, Big Cedar Lodge, ‘Kelly’s Kountry Junction’ & we are in rehearsals for Shepherd of the Hills play which opens May 1st! I am making plenty of personal appearances too.
This is my 34th season to play 4-5 characters a DAY at Silver Dollar City!
Of course, this season they have a new attraction, ‘Outlaw Run’!
The ONLY wooden roller-coaster that goes up-sidedown & the 2nd fastest wooden roller-coaster in the world that goes 68 miles per hour! Yes, I will ride it with you! ‘Boonie Woonie’
I am filming a local movie called ‘Boonie Woonie’ & will be released sometime this summer. I’ll be playing multiple characters in it!

2. The Vacation Channel for my TV show ‘Branson Country’ for my 16th season!
I play ‘Terry the Tour Guide’ as well as 7 other characters in this 1-hour TV show called ‘Branson Country’. This show is shown several times a day so tune in.
3. Shepherd of the Hills Play for my 12th season!
Reprising my roles as ‘Ollie Stewart’ the city slicker & ‘Doc Caughlin’ – well, “What would Sarah & the girls say!” The play opened May 1st this year!

4. I’ll be at Big Cedar for my 6th season as ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ hosting the campfire wagon rides!
I take you on a 1-hour wagon campfire/ride as the lovable ‘Deputy Birdie’ telling you the history of Big Cedar & some Big tales too! Select evenings so look at my 2013 Personal Appearance page! Or call 417-335-2777 for reservations, you don’t have to be a guest to ride! I have these ride on Mondays, Tuesday, & Wednesdays June-August!
5. Bass Pro for my 6th season!
I have been so blessed to write, produce, & perform in Bass Pro’s Christmas celebration for 6 years now! So keep your eyes open & checkout my personal appearances page later in the season.
6. The Muscular Dystrophy Association for my 6th season!

7. Kelly’s Kountry Junction
This is my 2nd season on this locally produced TV show now being seen on LOCAL PBS stations in Joplin, MO. & Springfield, MO. on Saturday nights. Check their local listings for the time & day. I get to stretch my comic abilities playing many characters, skits like you’d see on ‘The Carol Burnett Show’, Red Skelton, etc…
8. Personal appearances – EVERYWHERE – for all my life!
I keep so busy before my regular jobs, on my breaks at my regular job (Silver dollar City), on my way to my other regular jobs (Big Cedar Lodge), on my way to another regular job (Shepherd of the Hills), & after my regular job! August 26th I had my ‘Homer Lee & Friends Reunion Show! It was SOLD-OUT about 2 weeks beforehand. We turned away over 200 people at the Hamner-Barber Theatre. The TRIPLE DVD is available NOW!
I knew every single person in the audience! It was such a thrill to give back to those who have given so much to us. Plus to work with people whom I’ve know for many years.
