It will be another busy season, but right now things have slowed down to prepare for it all.  This will be my 35th year entertaining at Silver Dollar City where we will ‘Celebrate America’ in 2014,

 

 

 

 

 

 

my 17th year on The Vacation Channel with my very own hour-long TV show called ‘Branson Country’,

 

 

 

 

my 3rd season on ‘Kelly’s Kountry Junction’,

 

 

 

 

 

 

& I believe my 8th year with The Baker Creek Seed Company, Big Cedar Lodge, & The Muscular Dystrophy Association.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Plus, I hope to have some announcements of where else I will be this 2014 season.  I will be making personal appearances this winter so, please check back for ALL those dates.

Dec. has hit & “Merry Christmas” from me, ‘Homer Lee’ AKA Terry Wayne Sanders & all of Branson!  2013 was quite the non-stop whirlwind for me & that’s the way I like it! 8 jobs & looking for more!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Silver Dollar City was CLOSED yesterday, Thursday December 5th & IS CLOSED today, Friday December 6th due to the heavy snow.

You can find me right now at Silver Dollar City (My 34th season there!) & of course non-stop on The Vacation Channel with my own show ‘Branson Country’ as 8 characters, plus numerous TV commercials too.

 

 

 

 

I was honored to make a guest appearance in the amazing Shoji Tabuchi Show for their ‘Wonder of Christmas’ spectacular!

I’m making plans for 2014 & I hope to have some BIG news for you soon on that! 2014 will make my 35th season at Silver Dollar City as well as performing ALL over Branson!  I’ve been given a title now, “The Face of Branson!”  I’m just like dandilions, I’m all over the place!

Ready or not, it is November!

Christmas season has officially begun here in Branson the shows are open with Christmas music & there are millions & millions of beautiful lights strung for miles & miles!  

I was honored to have been personally asked by Ms. Dorothy Tabuchi to appear in Shoji Tabuchi’s ‘Wonder of Christmas!’ show on Monday, November 4th!  I have always wanted to perform with him & his talented cast, the delightful Ms. Dorothy his wife, & their amazing daughter Christina!  Thank you for this opportunity!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course I’m still at Silver Dollar City in my 34th season & for Christmas I’m playing ‘Clarence Peabody’ Santa’s helper at ‘Kringle’s Krossing’.  It’s Christmas time so the hours are different, Sat. 12 noon-9 PM & Sun., Thurs., & Fri. 1 -9 PM.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ve written, produced, & directed a new show Bass Pro in Springfield, ‘Rock n Roll Breakfast With Santa’ & the dates are ALL on Saturdays starting with Saturday Nov. 23rd, Nov. 30th, Dec. 7th, 14th, & 21st!  This breakfast buffet starts at 8 AM, the show is at 8:30 AM.  Call 417-887-7334 for reservations!  Call now because it will sell-out!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can catch me on The Vacation Channel – Branson, where I’ve had my own 1-hour TV show called Branson County!  I play 8 characters within that time frame several times each day.  

Sad News…

As you may know by now, The Shepherd of the Hills play has closed down for good.  The community, workers, friends, & fans of the show are heart-broken with this news.  It was a difficult decision for the family to make, but the with high cost of production & low attendance numbers. They had to.  The owner, Gary Snadon was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April & he passed away at 2 PM, Thursday, October 31st.  ONLY the play is closed, the rest of the Shepherd complex will remain OPEN, the ‘Trail of Lights’, tours of Old Matt’s Cabin, the Auto show & midnight cruise, Inspiration Tower, & the Vigilante zip-rider are ALL OPEN.

The End of an Era – Shepherd of the Hills Play Closes Down.

Yes, sad news indeed, the longest running outdoor drama in America shutdown on Oct. 19th, 2013.   Here is a letter from the owners, Gary & Pat Snadon, explaining why they are closing the play.  My family & I have been cast members for the last 12 years, our sons both played ‘Little Pete’, our youngest son, Evan James Sanders, now plays ‘Ollie’ on Monday nights when I play ‘Doc’, Dede my wife played ‘Mrs. Wheeler’, & I play ‘Ollie’ & ‘Doc’.  Please pray for all the cast, crew & the owners as well as the millions of people/fans who have seen this amazing production over its 54 year run.

The ONLY wooden roller-coaster that goes up-side down & the 2nd fastest wooden roller-coaster in the world that goes 68 miles per hour! Yes, I will ride it with you!

‘Boonie Woonie’

 

BRANSON  ALL-STAR CAST MOVIE PREMIERE!

I filmed a local movie called ‘Boonie Woonie’ & it premiered  Sunday, September 8th at the Branson IMAX theatre at 2:30 PM for a sold-Out crowd!  It will be available on DVD just in time for Christmas!

 

I am making a few appearances with The Missouri Boatride Bluegrass group too!  I was just with them in Kimberling City, MO.!

 

 

The Pearl Tatman House

While you are on vacation in the Ozark hills, please plan to stay at The Pearl Tatman House!  This is my favorite “Home away from home” & I stay here every year for my vacation!   A true Victorian home for the same price of a hotel room, you can have an entire home to yourself or you & your family/friends!

Reprising my roles as ‘Ollie Stewart’ the city slicker & ‘Doc Caughlin’ – well, “What would Sarah & the girls say!” The FINAL performance for 2013 is October 19th so come & see us before it’s too late!

 

 

 

 

5. Bass Pro for my 6th season!

I have been so blessed to write, produce, & perform in Bass Pro’s Christmas celebration for 6 years now!  So keep your eyes open & checkout my personal appearances page later in the season.

This is my 2nd season on this locally produced TV show now being seen on LOCAL PBS stations in Joplin, MO. & Springfield, MO. on Saturday nights.  Check their local listings for the time & day.  I get to stretch my comic abilities playing many characters, skits like you’d see on ‘The Carol Burnett Show’, Red Skelton, etc…

 

8. Personal appearances – EVERYWHERE – the rest of my life!

Sunny September Skies In Branson

I can’t believe it’s September already!  I’ve hit the ground running the very first day of September, I made my final appearance for the 2013 season on Sunday, September 1st at the Baker Creek Seed Company in Mansfield, MO.  Everyone had a GREAT time!  I played ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ & Grandpa Tabuchi.  I got back to Branson in time to have dinner with the family & then off to Shepherd of the Hills play at 7:30 now that it’s our fall schedule.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday, September 2nd I was on KRZK with Steve & Janet promoting ‘Boonie Woonie’.  A movie that premiered Sunday, September 8th at 2:30 PM at the IMAX complex with the cast on the red carpet & everything.  This was open to the public & we ALL had a GREAT time!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was off from Silver Dollar City  from the 1st-11th & then back on the 12th of September.  The 7th at 1 PM I made an appearance as ‘Barney Fife’ in Harrison, ARK for a tribute to veterans with a big parade!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then on to Branson where I will made another appearance for a PRIVATE party at Stonebridge for another group of veterans at 6 PM.  From there I went on to perform at The Shepherd of the Hills play at 7:30 PM!
