Happy Valentine’s Day!  

On the positive side Branson, MO is hot with excitement for the 2019 season!  So much is going on & I’m proud to say this is my 40th season to be an entertainer here!

2019 looks like it will be a non-stop cavalcade of employment for me EVERYWHERE!  I will maintain ALL my usual jobs, for instance this is my 40th season with Silver Dollar City playing multiple characters over the entire 66 acre park!

This will be my 4th year to share the stage with CJ Newsom in our show CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy in the Americana Theatre here in Branson, MO!  We have added more musicians & performers for the 2019 season & our opening date is March 19th!  Every Sun., Tues., & Wed. at 7:30 PM!

This is my 18th season (On & off) to be in the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor drama!  You will not recognize the homestead at all with the newest  addition of the Aunt Mollie’s Restaurant, the Playhouse Theatre, live entertainment during the day all the new shops, the new kid’s playground, & so much more!

This is my 14th season to write, produce, & perform at Big Cedar Lodge!  I’m bringing my comedy & friends to help us celebrate ALL the GREAT holidays Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & of course, Christmas!

This is my 14th season to appear at the Baker Creek Seed Company in Mansfield, MO. too!  They have a seed festival the 1st Sun.of every month & I will be there on a few of those dates!

Sun., March 3rd ~ Branson Detour 2019! is coming to the Coleman Theatre on Sunday, March 3, for two fun-filled hours showcasing Branson’s top musicians, singers and comedians. The lineup includes Terry Wayne Sanders (better known as “Homer Lee”), Motown Downtown, George Dyer, Buckets N Boards, Dolly and Friends, the Michael Frost Trio, Lou LeBrun, and Leroy New’s Tribute to Marty Robbins. The show will run from 2 to 4 p.m. and tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $20 for students and children.

Ready or not… Happy New Year & let’s jump into January!  2018 had it’s ups & downs, but we survived & are anxiously looking forward to 2019!  Right now I’m on hiatus from ALL my jobs & that’s ok, with 6 jobs last year it’s nice to relax & get “the little things” done!

Friday, January 25th-30 I will be with Chris & CJ Newsom in Louisville, KY. for the ABA (American Bus Association) convention to visit with 100’s of tour bus/coach companies to invite them book their groups for CJ Newsom’s Classic Country & Comedy Show for 2019!

The world has lost a wonderful man, at truly great performer, & a dear friend of mine, Mr. Roy Clark.  He passed away Thursday, November 15th, 2018 due to pneumonia.  He was 85 years of age.  What an incredible 85 years it was, married to the same lovely lady for 61 years, several children, & a musical legacy to be envied by all.  He was beloved by his legions of fans, admired by his peers, & inspired anyone who wanted to play the guitar!  He was the 1st celebrity to build his own theater here in Branson, MO.  In October of 1989 the director & producer of Hee Haw came to Branson looking for new faces to be on their TV show.   They saw me performing with the Braschler Music Show & also at Silver Dollar City.  In 24 hours I was hired to be the newest cast member of, at that time, the longest running variety show on TV!  It ran for a total of 25 years!  We filmed 13 episodes in 2 weeks!  It was THE most exciting time of my career to work with these legends, plus all the guest stars!  Roy remained a true blue friend over the years & even filmed a video “shout-out” in my 2015 ‘Homer Lee & Friends Variety Show’!  Peace be with you friend!  Always, Terry ‘Homer Lee’ Sanders
